In the Spring of 2010 John sustained a fracture to his hand.   
Clearly, he did not let this defeat him as him came back strong
shooting 67-69 for an 8 under total 136 to win the WNY Junior
PGA Section Championship and qualify for the 35th Jr PGA
Championship to be held at Sycamore Hills Aug 2 - 5, 2010.
